The Performance series of horse exerciser was designed for the professional, working class and the elite horseman in mind.  At Odyssey we know that people staff their farms according to their exerciser needs.  We also know that down time is a big problem so when we designed the Performance series we designed it to take a beating.  The Odyssey Performance Horse Exerciser ranks as one of the heaviest built machines on the market.  We also know that there is a fine line between being too heavy and wearing out strategic parts and too light that it will not take the constant beating of employees and horses.  Years of upgrading the Odyssey have produced a very balanced machine capable of running for years with little maintenance. 

LS

The LS unit was built for the hobby farm and for the consumer that will pay attention to the animals in the machine.  A lighter designed unit allows us to bring the price down.  One area of the machine that could not be compromised are the hanging gates which push, prod and direct the horses in the exerciser.  We feel that this could not be lightened so the gates are the exact material as the Performance series.  The drive system on the LS is entirely different and has virtually no maintenance.  Direct drive allows us to remove the chain from the drive system thus eliminating the need to keep an eye on tensioning the chain over the years.  One disadvantage of this system is that it takes our ability away to have a toggle switch on the control panel to operate the electric fencer.  If the operator wants to turn the fencer on they must go to the center pole and turn the fencer on.
